It’s the first of February and snowing for the first time in Bath, UK. Some people stay indoors, others build snowmen, I…well, I become a medieval character for two hours. Meet Anam Fiain, the fair lady of the woods.
Winters in my home town, Piatra-Neamt used to be laden with glorious snow. The forests would be witnesses to quiet footsteps in the morning mist. A bridge can have many meanings, but I believe this one connects the world of story with the real world.
The sheep have left their sheepfold in Calimani mountains for the winter. They will return in spring, when the grass is fresh with morning dew.
It was a freezing day at the 12 Apostles in Calimani, Romania. Me and a few other photographers ventured in this place to grasp a thread of silence and beauty. This lonely tree was overladen with snow, similarly to how people are overladen with worries.
This beautiful beech forest covered in snow was witnessed in Pasul Bucin, in my beloved Romania. It didn’t even take a fancy camera to capture the atmosphere.
